O'Hara to Participate in Panel Discussion on Education
Roseland, NJ, February 28, 2008 –
Jeffrey L. O’Hara will participate in a panel discussion on education sponsored by the Montgomery Township School District. The program, entitled “Conversation with the Community: Educating for Success in the 21st Century,” will take place on March 8, 2008 at Montgomery Lower School, 373 Burnt Hill Road, Skillman, New Jersey, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
Mr. O’Hara will be a part of a panel of business leaders who reside in Montgomery Township, and will join representatives from Campbell Soup, Crimson Investment and The Tyden Group. Each panelist will provide insight into the tools needed for success in each of their industries. The panel will be joined by futurist Art Shostak, PhD and other academics. Following the individual assessments, a group discussion will take place. The event will conclude with an open question and answer session with audience members.
“The community is a key partner in the successful education of our children and they help us to have a broader perspective of the whole child and the community at large,” said Jane Plenge, Assistant Superintendent, Montgomery Township School District.
“Preparing our children for the future is so important. Technological, financial and political developments happen so quickly that you can blink and get left behind. We need to know what our sons and daughters have to learn in order to succeed in such a dynamic global environment,” said Mr. O’Hara.
