Timothy E. Corriston points out the growing number of women filing take-home asbestos lawsuits. He also states that the pivotal issue in these cases lies in determining whether second-hand exposure to these chemicals is sufficient to actually cause a disease. Mr. Corriston also said that employers are growing increasingly alarmed about this new category of asbestos litigation because it exponentially increases the number of potential plaintiffs.
