As a highly experienced trial
attorney and litigator, William H.
Graham has appeared in state and
federal courts across the country
and has handled a full range of
major, complex matters, including
admiralty, antitrust, commercial,
criminal, employment, environmental,
intellectual property, international
trade, product liability,
securities, toxic tort and numerous
class actions. For over 25 years, he
has handled nationwide asbestos
litigation, with an active docket of
over 34,000 cases and an unmatched
success rate. He has been active in
state and federal civil justice
reform efforts and has served as a
board member and chairman of
statewide coalitions. He has also
been a frequent speaker on corporate
governance and litigation topics.
Mr. Graham began his legal career as
a Law Clerk and then an associate at
Connell Foley. From 1977-2003 he was
a member of the Law Department of
Bethlehem Steel Corporation, where
he most recently served as Senior
Vice President, General Counsel and
Secretary. In his 11 years as
General Counsel, he was a member of
Bethlehem's senior management team
and managed a large, high
performance law department in the
handling of the full range of
corporate legal matters. He served
on the Corporate Management,
Planning, Disclosure and Employee
Benefits Administration Committees
and the Safety, Health and
Environment Council. He also managed
Corporate Security, Public and
Governmental Affairs, Legal
Compliance and Real Estate Services.
