Bryan Couch practices primarily in the area of business litigation with a focus on franchise litigation. Mr. Couch represents large franchisors in commercial disputes venued primarily in the state and federal courts of New Jersey and New York. Mr. Couch’s experience includes matters arising from franchise and licensing relationships, as well as traditional contract and business disputes.  


During his career at Connell Foley, Mr. Couch has handled a wide variety of litigated matters including complex commercial, product liability, professional liability, and insurance defense.
He is experienced in all aspects of litigation, including initial case assessment; discovery drafting; fact, expert and corporate designee depositions; trial preparation; motion practice; and trial and appellate practice.

 

In law school, Mr. Couch was the Notes and Comments Editor of the Seton Hall University Journal of Sport Law. He served as an intern to the Hon. Peter Boggia, Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division; and the Hon. Gerald Escala, Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division.
